The Boys

Caleb showing promise as a civil engineer.

A very smug looking civil engineer.

Now showing promise as a masked superhero, or a Lucha Libre!

Tank A.K.A. Owen, not being able to decide what mood he wants to be in.

So it begins...

Well, it has been 10 years since I graduated from high school and I am at a crossroads. I have officially crossed off 4 career paths from my list of potential careers. Auto Mechanic, Phone Guy, Realtor, and Retail are gone. I have to wonder though, "Did I leave them or did they leave me?" I went to a great school in Pheonix to be an auto mechanic where the instuctors told us to do something different if it was at all possible. So that got my mind going, "Do I really want to do this?" I decided against it and moved back home to good 'ol New Mexico. Next, I worked for a friend in the telecom world doing phone work. It was okay but it didn't really light my fire, so to speak. After taking a year long hiatus to attend a leadership school in Colorado Springs, I returned to telecom to quickly be laid off due to lack of work. I can definitely say there was no love lost. After that I obtained my real estate license and worked as a Realtor for the next four years. I did quite well for the first 3 years and then the market fell out. So, there went real estate... I was luckier than most in that a good friend was a manager at Circuit City. That was a great option for a quick job. Over the next year, I quickly went from Mobile Electronics Installer to Install Supervisor then to Assistant Manager. That was great except for the fact that the company has gone bankrupt and now I am, yet again, looking for the next step. And, what a big, slow step it has been.

For ten years I have just done what would make me money and keep me busy, so now for something different. I want to chase a dream. So I asked myself, "What has been a constant in my life? What am I passionate about? Shoot, what am I good at?" I now know that ever since I was a child, two wheels have driven my heart to beat, and beat quickly! Over the last few months, I have also made a new discovery; I am a really good photographer! So, I am going to try to take a talent and a passion and put them together. I want to work as a motorcycle photographer. It may be a long, arduous journey; but, if I get there, oh how sweet the reward! I could make money doing something I love. I could be creative. Most of all, I would get to be in the wonderful world of motorcycling. So, this is my first website. This is where I will be posting my work. I am making connections and building a portfolio. It is going to be risky and it will be an adventure, but if I get it done it will all be worth it. So, please keep checking back and let me know what you think. Let me know if you have a bike that is unique, that needs some love and exposure. I'm your man!
